Spa Day

We talk a lot about having a more relaxed holiday season at CheckedTwice. But the reality is that there is a lot going on during this season, and it can be stressful no matter how organized you are. What’s a great way to relax?

How about a massage?

A Spa gift certificate can make a great gift. It’s just extravagant enough. You wouldn’t normally purchase this for yourself, but it’s always appreciated when you receive it as gift. A little relaxing, a little pampering. It can be a great way to start the new year.

Spas are typically small, local businesses, though, so getting a gift certificate can be difficult especially if you don’t live in the same area. My family uses a website called SpaFinder that handles that issue pretty well. You can buy a gift certificate through the site that can be redeemed at over 20,000 locations. They can mail it for you in a nice looking envelope, or if you’re in a bit of a rush (like I typically am), they can send it in an email.

It’s a great service. Check it out.

A bit more pampering…

It’s nice to have something to unwrap and use immediately, so we suggest getting them something they can use to pamper themselves. This can be a bit more personal, but L’Occitane en Provence makes a wide variety of good products–at least, my wife swears by them. So whether it’s hand cream or a face mask or shaving gel for men, your loved one can start feeling pampered right away.
